  • Implant Retained Dentures

Dental implants work in the way that roots of your natural teeth do. The implants allow complete or partial dentures to simply clip into place, so there’s little or no movement

Loose and sore dentures are difficult enough to manage, and losing your sense of taste, can also reduce your quality of life. Dental implants can make these issues a thing of your past.

Implant dentures offer a simple yet technologically advanced solution to all those common problems associated with ill-fitting dentures. Titanium posts are placed to replace the roots of extracted teeth. They form a firm, stable anchor point for full or partial dentures. You simply clip on your dentures and you’re good to go!

Benefits of dental implants for denture wearers are:

Denture implants give you the confident look and feel of secure, stable natural teeth with.

  • No movement

  • No sore gums

  • Reduced gaps for food to slip under

  • No denture adhesive required

  • No stress while eating, smiling or laughing!

Implant dentures can also prevent neighbouring teeth from moving into the gaps left by extracted teeth. This, in turn, helps preserve bone and reduce gum tissue loss/shrinkage. With close-fitting dentures, you retain your natural smile, increase your chewing force and get your tastebuds back!

  • Full Dentures

Complete dentures improve the appearance of your smile, restore your bite and are custom-made for you. With complete dentures, you can have a beautiful smile again and restored confidence in talking, eating and laughing. Whether you need new dentures or already wear them, we will take the time to explain and show you how we can make a difference .

At Frimley Dentures, our full dentures are custom-made for you using the latest technology, and materials. This  combined with Neil’s expertise and specialist training ensure that we will achieve the best possible result for you. All the dentures are personally manufactured by Neil himself, ensuring quality control for each denture he makes from the first visit to final fitting.

  • Partial Dentures

A partial denture is specially made to include natural-looking teeth that blend in seamlessly with your own teeth. The new teeth are supported on a strong, lightweight framework made of either acrylics, metal, or a  combination of both . A partial denture is designed to accurately fit around your own teeth and clip into place for a stable fit.

Why have a partial denture?

After losing one or more teeth, your remaining natural teeth start moving into the adjacent empty spaces. This movement causes bone loss around the roots of your existing teeth, which in turn affects how your mouth looks. Wearing a partial denture will fill gaps created by missing teeth. It keeps the natural shape of your mouth, so you can smile with confidence again.

  • Immediate Dentures

Immediate dentures are dentures(full and partials) that are fitted immediately after your teeth have been extracted. This enables you to have a natural-looking smile without waiting before you dentures are manufactured. The immediate complete or partial dentures are made in advance, so you can wear them home the same day as your teeth are extracted. Immediate dentures aid in restoring your natural mouth shape and allow you to continue to talk, and chew even as the bones and gums in the mouth are healing. You will not need to be  ’toothless’ for any period of time.

Having your remaining teeth extracted is a decision that you would need to discuss with your own dentist first. We are happy to accept referrals from your dentist, or we can put you in touch with a dentist to help you determine your treatment plan. This ensures both a personal touch and high standards of quality control for each and every denture made.

  • Relines & Repairs

Over time, your gums and bones shrink and create a space under your dentures. You may notice more food gets underneath the dentures, resulting in reduced chewing efficiency, and more sores. Loose, ill-fitting dentures can cause rubbing, pressure points and sore spots. Denture relines adjust the fit of your dentures to compensate for gradual bone loss. All types of dentures should receive a reline every one to three years to preserve the bone under the dentures and keep the gums healthy.

If your dentures don’t fit well or are damaged and broken, it’s time to call us here at Frimley Dentures. We offer:

  • Emergency Denture Repairs(where possible the same day service)

  • Denture Relines

  • Denture Repairs

  • Tooth Additions

  • Mouthguards

Wearing a custom mouthguard during sports offers a number of advantages that include:

  • Mouthguards cushion a blow to the face, reducing the risk of broken or knocked out teeth.

  • Studies indicate that mouthguards reduce the risk of mild traumatic brain injuries/concussions because they help absorb shock caused by a direct blow to the jaw.

  • Mouthguards protect the lips, tongue, and inner lining of the cheeks.

  • For those who have braces, mouthguards help prevent damage to brackets and also serve as a barrier between braces and the cheeks or lips, thus lowering the risk of gum injury.

  • Mouthguards help prevent damage to bridges and other fixed orthodontic appliances.

  • Repairing dental injuries is expensive, while the cost of a mouthguard is minimal in comparison.

In addition to the above a well manufactured custom mouthguard will also:

  • Allow speaking and does not limit breathing.

  • Stay firmly in place during action.

  • Provide a high degree of comfort and fit.

  • be durable and easy to clean.

  • be resilient, tear-resistant, odourless and tasteless.

At Frimley Dentures we manufacture a range of custom mouthguards depending on the type of sport being played. We also have a range of colours available. Call Neil now to discuss what mouthguard is suitable for you.
